Bartkowski will perform a full building survey and generate a
Statement of Conditions (SOC).
We will then begin remediation of all noted violations. Bartkowski tracks all work being performed via our Facility Management Program (FMS). In our experience we have found that proper documentation of life safety deficiency corrections is a key component to ensuring compliance with the code. Once a facility understands exactly where they stand in terms of compliance, it will be much easier for them to hold other trades working in the building accountable for the violations that they are causing.
The following is a brief outline as to how the program is implemented:
- The survey, or SOC, is loaded into the FMS with ‘before’ pictures
- As work is completed the items are documented within the program and closed out.
- The Facility will be provided with the following information in the FINAL REPORT:
- Location of penetration
- Date penetration seal was installed
- UL Tested System Design installed
- Item Number that will correspond with the FMS database
- An ‘after’ picture is taken upon completion and loaded into the FMS
